Overview
During my time at University, I gained the opportunity to work in University of Staffordshire’s in house games studio working in Unreal Engine 5 to Upgrade the TIGA award winning MechHead. My role was programmer where I helped convert existing blueprints into robust C++ files that could interface with the blueprints that the designers could interact with. I was also tasked with creating new solutions to current tickets, such as Save files systems that worked in C++ and encrypted the filed that it wrote to. Later I was made Tech Lead in which I had to handle the GitHub and ensure the final product was created in time and with all modifications created across all team members.
